First things first. We are very happy that all Cashare employees are well and no one has been infected with the Corona virus so far. But it is also our highest priority that this remains the case and that our employees, their families, and society are protected.
Although we doubled our office space in recent weeks and thus have enough space for "social distancing", we decided last Sunday, due to current developments, to switch to home office as much as possible with immediate effect.
Our Crisis Plan
We created a crisis plan a few weeks ago and are consistently following it according to developments. Currently, according to our plan, we are still formally at level 1 and can work more or less normally.
Nevertheless, all our employees have trained the home office mode. Since the introduction of the plan, everyone takes their laptop home daily and has practiced accessing all systems from home. This now allows us to completely switch to home office due to developments over the weekend and Federal Council decisions from Friday.
Our Measures
The following measures now apply at Cashare:
- Home office for all: Home office applies to the entire workforce with immediate effect, except for one person in the operations team for processing mail and direct phone calls.
- Risk groups: People in risk groups and employees who travel by public transport remain in home office without exception.
- Social Distancing: Strict "social distancing" applies in the office, i.e. never more than one person per office, no meetings (only virtual), min. 2 meters distance and max. 15 minutes in the same room.
- No physical contacts: Physical business contacts are generally prohibited with immediate effect and only permitted by phone or in extreme special situations.
We ask our customers, business partners and all other contacts for understanding that no physical contacts will take place in the coming days. We remain reachable through all channels.
Digitalization Makes It Possible
As a first-generation fintech company, we have fully digitized all work processes and will maintain operations without restrictions.
It is also important to us to stay calm! Panic is out of place and first and foremost it is now about breaking the chain of infection, protecting risk groups and relieving the healthcare system.
As a great team, we will master this extraordinary situation together.
Best regards Michael Borter CEO Cashare AG
