Crazy Country USA and Our Board Member Alfred Mettler

We currently have six renowned individuals in our Advisory Board, a body with an advisory function. Alfred Mettler has been a part of it for many years. He has followed the development of Cashare closely since its founding, and we greatly appreciate the professional and personal exchange with him.

About Alfred Mettler

He is an economics professor at the University of Miami (USA) and Adjunct Professor at the Swiss Finance Institute. After his studies at the University of Zurich, he first worked at the Swiss Banking Institute there. Since 1998, Alfred Mettler has been teaching and researching in the USA.

His main academic interests are in the areas of International Banking and Finance, Fintech developments, risk management of financial institutions, and education in the financial sector.

The Book "Crazy Country USA"

In September this year, the book "Crazy Country USA" written by him and his wife Adriana was published by Orell Füssli, for which we congratulate them.

The two describe their more than 20 years of experience as American-Swiss dual citizens. Their "Notes from a Peculiar Country" are an unusual portrait of facts, observations, personal experiences, analyses, and comments.

In over sixty blog-like contributions about land and people, society and lifestyle, economy and politics, an unusual, almost ethnological picture of a familiar yet strange nation and its people emerges.

We wish you much enjoyment reading!
