Sell Your Loans on our Cashare Secondary Market!

Want to sell loans? On the Cashare secondary market, loans can be sold among investors. Learn everything about the new feature.

Introduction

Recently we reported that we will introduce a secondary market. Since October 1, 2019, it's officially live. Below you'll learn how to offer loans for sale.

Step-by-Step Guide

To offer a loan for sale, navigate to your portfolio on the investor page and select the corresponding loan. Click on "Start Sale".

Offering Loans for Sale

The "Start Sale" function is only active for loans where a sale is possible. If it's inactive, the requirements are not met:

  • The loan is in "In Order" status
  • There are no arrears on interest payments
  • The Cashare secondary market must be open

Filling Out the Sales Form

After clicking "Start Sale", a form opens. You must complete this fully to offer your loan for sale.

Loan Amount

You can sell the entire amount or a partial amount of the loan. The minimum is CHF 100.–

Sales Price

Set the price at which you want to sell your loan. You can customize this individually. The price includes the seller's fees charged by Cashare AG upon sale.

Sales Fees

A fee of 1% of the price is charged for the sale, with a minimum of CHF 25.–.

Placing a Sales Ad

Once you've filled out all fields in the form, click "Place Sales Ad". The ad is now published on the secondary market and can be acquired by other investors in predefined denominations.

Canceling a Purchase

Made a mistake? No problem! Before each purchase, buyers must accept the terms and conditions. As long as this step hasn't been completed, you as the seller can deactivate the ad.

Important Notes

  • You can offer multiple loans for sale simultaneously
  • The ad remains active until the full amount is sold or you deactivate it
  • Upon successful sale, the sales price minus fees will be credited to your account
