Virus immunity thanks to fintech

The ongoing spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease Covid-19, is an enormous burden for those affected and can lead to human suffering and death. The economy is also affected in many ways. In addition to the looming economic difficulties, the protection of employees and the maintenance of regular operations must be ensured.

We don't know how the current outbreak and the officially mandated restrictions will develop. But one thing is already clear:
Unlike many traditional companies, managing such a crisis is certainly no walk in the park for us as a crowdlending platform, but it is considerably easier to handle.

The major difference between a fintech and a traditional bank – besides its lower complexity – is above all the consistent use of modern information and communication technology. This meant there was never any need to develop laptop concepts or implement remote access. For a fintech, digitalization is in the company's DNA, not a project mandated by management.

As a fintech company, Cashare has implemented all processes and personal work methods independently of location from the very beginning. Customer-facing processes have always taken place on the online platform. Customers have access to all necessary information in their user area. If customers have further questions or concerns, they can easily reach us via chat, email, or telephone. The responsible staff do not need to be in the same room for any of these functions.

What applies externally is also practiced internally. Instead of holding meetings for every minor issue, communication generally takes place via chat functions. Tasks are not given verbally at the desk, but rather assigned using productivity tools and processed transparently. The necessary direct communication can also be easily maintained by phone in a well-coordinated team like ours.

Naturally, all employees will face increasing strain as the pandemic progresses. We may also experience illnesses within our team, which will require prioritizing tasks – a process that has already been established. Those with mild illnesses can continue working from home. Thanks to our established practice of working from home and Cashare's advanced digitalization, we are well-prepared, can minimize the risk of infection, and ensure that daily business continues without interruption.

Fintech therefore not only leads to greater efficiency and a better customer experience, but also makes it possible to confidently manage restrictions during a pandemic.

We wish everyone good health.

Your Cashare team!
